1972 Triumph TR6 Restoration

In late 2012, my dad and I began looking to restore a car in order to learn about mechanical automotive systems. We decided that we wanted a classic-style sports car that would be fun to drive and while still being small enough for two people to move around. After some research and a influential piece on BBC's TopGear, we purchased an iconic British sports car, the Triumph TR6.

After completely dissembling the car, we evaluated what we had and organized what we could use to rebuild the TR6. We sandblasted the chassis and began reassembling the the car one subsystem at a time.
With the help of manuals, exploded views, and Victoria British's catalogs, we have pieced together the suspension, brakes, drive train, and replaced the wiring harness. Our next steps have included the final alignment of body panels installation of interior cosmetics components.
